Electronic records and signatures consent
Draft pending counsel review. Version esign-2026-09-30.v1, dated . This text is not final and may change before launch.
Before you sign your application online, we ask you to agree to receive documents and sign electronically. This is what you are agreeing to.
What this consent covers
By agreeing, you consent to receive, review and sign electronically the documents for your merchant account, including the merchant application, the merchant processing agreement and its terms, any personal guaranty, required disclosures, and notices about your application or account (together, the "records"). Your electronic signature has the same effect as a handwritten one.
Paper copies
You can ask for a paper copy of any record at no charge by using our contact form. You can also download a PDF of your signed application right after signing, and later from your merchant portal.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw this consent at any time by telling us through the contact form. Withdrawing does not affect records you already signed. If you withdraw before signing, we will help you complete the application on paper, which can take longer.
What you need
- A current version of Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox with cookies and JavaScript turned on.
- A device that can open PDF files.
- An email address you can access, and the ability to receive a one time code by email before you sign.
If these requirements change in a way that could stop you from accessing records, we will tell you first.
Keeping your contact details current
Update your email address in your merchant portal, or tell us through the contact form, so records reach you.
Your confirmation
When you check the consent box in the application, you confirm that you can open and read this page and PDF documents on your device, and that you agree to use electronic records and signatures. We keep the version of this text you agreed to, with the date and time.
